Nice pictures. I like the one of Jo in her green dress. Did she make it?

I wasn't sure how to contact you privately, so I'll just leave a comment on your blog (feel free to delete it if you like!) Almost two years ago, you wrote a series of posts about how to make new friends. One of the "take home" lessons I got from that was how important it is to take risks. Recognizing that not everyone is going to connect, but to keep trying! Another lesson I got was the importance of not simply saying "we'll get together some time," but to actually set a date. These articles really spoke to my heart, and although I'm not naturally a "social butterfly," I started making some real changes in how I approached people, initiating contact, not shying away from people who wanted to get together for a spontaneous play date, setting up get together's of my own, etc. I actually wrote a comment to you way back then to say "thank you," but wanted to write a second time because since then I have met some of the most amazing ladies and made some of the most wonderful friendships of my life and I am absolutely certain that had your articles not touched me the way that they did, these friendships would never have been made. I had to purpose to push through all the things that would have normally held me back, and it was your articles that gave me the motivation I needed to do so. I just wanted to thank you again and tell you how much those articles meant to me. I look forward to reading more from you as I catch up on some much-neglected blog time. :)
