Sometimes I don't really want to post a tackle, since the most exciting thing I did today was: make dinner. Then again, my family appreciated the effort, so I'll write about it.
I was so excited to be able to buy another grain mill from Craig's List. It was really reasonable and makes bread making sooo much easier. (I was having each of the kids take turns with a hand-cranked mill!) Ugh.
Homemade bread is a "no biggy" to my family, but sometimes I shape them cute--like this.

So, that's my busy life. I also finished reading my students' blogs. This is huge! I assign 12 children 3-5 posts a week. If you would like to read some of my students' blogs, you can take a sampling at: Mr. Lego Dude.
Yummy!
What do you do after a huge day of baking? Clean the sink, of course.
Before: there were grungies at the bottom of the sink.
After: Yes, I used the CLR cleaner.. again. There's still more cleaner in the bottle, so I have to do some more cleaning!

Tackling is a good word for it.. especially after a huge weekend.

It looks like you made crescent rolls. . . recipe please! Or is it a family secret?
Hey I can't even bake! So hats off to you for making dinner! I only installed curtains for my tackle! Ha! Lazy me!
Home made bread would be a huge deal to my family!!! Especially if it looked as nice as yours.
That bread looks yummy! I just may have to make some tonight! :)
I don't know what I am impressed with more---your shiny, beautiful bread or your shiny, beautiful sink! I'm glad you got a mill!
Hey, I think making dinner is a great tackle. The army travels on its stomach, you know. Feeding your family wholesome food, like bread made with freshly ground flour, is huge. Good job!
The recipe is NOT special. It's just regular homemade bread dough: 6 cups hot water, 1/2 c. honey, 3 T. yeast, Then add whole wheat flour (mix for 6 minutes) Add 1 T. salt 1/2 c. oil. Add more flour.. You can add about 1-2 cups of white flour if you want. Bam! Done.
CC. My sink is always grungy, so definitely choose the sink to be impressed with, OK?
We have no idea exactly what I'm amazed along with more---your gleaming, stunning breads or even your own gleaming, stunning kitchen sink! I am happy you have the generator!
